Project Description:

This project is about building a HRMS system for the 400 CS employees, and PeopleSoft 8.9 (Tools 8.48) will be used for this purpose. The project involves Credit Suisse HRMS 8.9 Implementation, covering Benefit, payroll modules. The Credit Suisse (CS) will be opening its BPO operations in Pune, India. Around 2500 people are expected to work for it. Of this, around 400 employees will be recruited as CS employees, while the remaining 2100 will be recruited as Wipro BPO employees or contractors for Wipro. These WBPO employees + WBPO contractors will be referred to as "Contractors" by CS. The 400 CS employees will be referred as "employees" by CS.

Wipro will carry out the recruitment process of all 2500 people on behalf of CS. This will happen through Wipro's "Synergy" module. The 2100 WBPO people will have all their details maintained through Wipro's own TEDWEB, SAP etc.

Responsibilities:

Design & code for the custom page.

Creating Technical Specifications.

Creation of Complex Inbound and Out-bound Interface for Payroll, Benefits, Cost Center, SAP Contractor modules for Credit Suisse.

Identifying new processes, modules, technology, tools, Security policy to be implemented or that may impact the people soft application upgrade.

Creating test plans.

Perform employee Claims upload using files received from third party.

The payroll for Credit Suisse India will be processed by the third party payroll provider. The final calculated pay slip for all employees to be paid for the month will be sent as a file to Wipro General Ledger and to the PeopleSoft system. The HR admin will upload this data into PeopleSoft. The upload program will populate a customized table in PeopleSoft created solely for this purpose. This will be a monthly process initiated by the HR user.

The administrator will be able to search for an employee’s payslip for a particular month and view the payslip details on a screen.
