Participate within a high performing work team to maintain the effectiveness of key pharmaceutical equipment through various stages of the packaging process. Equipment effectiveness applies to all stages of equipment operation, including operation, cleaning, assembly, adjustment, and maintenance of Blister and Bottle packaging lines.
Troubleshoots equipment failures and performs routine maintenance. Recognized as an SME (Subject Matter Expert) and conducts training for new and temporary employees. Selected to go to manufacturer location (out of state) to conduct “Factory approved testing” on new packaging equipment. Acts as a peer adviser as needed – is the ‘go to’ person for problems on the line. Communicate effectively and efficiently among peers groups and support staff during shift changes; submits shift report to management at conclusion of shift. Packaging Quality Control Inspector: Specially trained to pull samples from line for quality inspections and to document the findings. Review completed packaging batch records and perform ‘second checks’ for batch records.
