Director of Facilities, Operations and Engineering, Bristol Hospital, Bristol, CT, 2014 – 2015 Manage engineering, operations, maintenance, in a 133 bed acute care community hospital. Oversight of capital projects, including design and construction, with responsibility for management architect and contractor selection processes and relationships.

Director of Facilities Management, Windham & Backus Hospitals, Willimantic, CT2011 – 2014 Hartford Healthcare System – Eastern Region Managing a staff of 75 representing engineering, operations, maintenance, safety, bio-medical, environmental services, and security in a 130 and 250 bed acute care community hospital. Supervised the activities of the construction management firm, architects, engineers, and other consultant’s staff as part of the hospitals major expansion program. Successfully dealt with all outside regulatory agencies by coordinating timetables and deadlines between State Health Department, Fire Safety, and building Inspectors as well as banking construction consultants. Developed estimates and monitored costs as part of $25 million project.

Manager, Global Facilities Integration Engineer, Sikorsky Aircraft, Stratford, CT 2010 - 2011 Responsible for the development of an aircraft manufacturing facility in Hyderabad, India. Established and coordinated team events with a team of engineers from the US and India. Developing preliminary layout designs for building construction & detail fabrication center.

Facilities Director, Waterbury Hospital, Waterbury, CT 2005 – 2010 Responsible for the operations, personnel, regulatory compliance and budget of the Plant-Engineering Department of a 650,000 sq.ft. 250-bed hospital. Streamlined Infection Control and Life Safety programs in order to meet requirements of regulatory agencies such as JCAHO, CMS, and DPH. Developed and implemented a building management program to ensure hospital wide life safety precautions is maintained.

Facilities Director, Protein Sciences Corp., Meriden, CT, 2003 – 2005 Reporting to the Chief Operation Officer, responsible for the maintenance of a 200,000 sq.ft. Bio-pharmaceutical manufacturing plant. Supervised contractors and internal maintenance personnel and worked with scientists on project development to design and manufacture prototype process equipment. Assisted in the research, development and implementation of equipment design necessary to manufacture influenza vaccine. This resulted in an identified $350,000 cost savings within the first year. Coordinated efforts to prepare for successful FDA and DPH surveys. Designed and planned for a 54,000. sq.ft. vaccine manufacturing facility.
