PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
NORTH CENTRAL INSTITUTE, Clarksville, TN 03/09-06/10
As an Aircraft Maintenance Technician in Training gaining valuable knowledge and work experience on various aircraft engines; i.e. complete overhaul of Allison 250 turbine engines, IO 470 Continental, Cessna 172.
Developing knowledge and work experience on the Airframe of the various aircrafts to include advanced sheet metal, aircraft instruments, aircraft avionics, assembly & rigging aircraft and hydraulic & pneumatic power system.
Investing additional training time to acquire advanced Airframe knowledge to include removing/ installing solid shank rivets and blind rivets, cutting metal, fabricating pieces (i.e. patches, doublers) using sheet metal tools (i.e. tin snips, rivet gun, drills, scales and dividers) and completely re-skinning rudders and rudder tabs.
Gaining experience with electrical components and schematics, i.e. magnetos, starters, generators, alternators.
