I was the managing team member in two major projects addressing environmental issues with industrial-base companies in the US. Both were for the United States Council for Automotive Research (USCAR). The first project was regarding “Design for Recycle-ability” issues and implementation for Detroit-based OEM’s. Program was conducted at the Vehicle Development Recycling Center in Highland Park, Michigan (objective was to create an efficient cost effective dis-assembly line to recycle vehicles and their associated fluids). The second program was the building and commissioning of the C.E.R.P. foundry in California (Casting Emission Reduction Program), the results of the program are benefitting the environment, and are thoroughly CARB compliant. These technological advances were used as a benchmark for water and air quality and productivity increases for other existing steel mills and casting facilities in the US.

I have been directly involved in advanced technology and its commercial application, deployment and global support (levels one, two and three), and have had many focused speaking engagements on global production process management for Financial Executives International, Detroit Chapter, AIAG (Automotive Industry Action Group) as well as University of Detroit Mercy, School of Business.
