Industrial Engineering Manager

Requested to relocate to the Belvidere Assembly Plant (5 Mil. sq. ft.) after seven months with FCA to provide strong leadership support for the Industrial Engineering department comprising eight people. Doing so required supporting the stamping, body in white, paint and assembly centers for production of the Dodge Dart, Jeep Compass and Patriot models on a single assembly line. 251 productivity redeployments were achieved, along with effective manpower control while rebuilding internal/external relationships and strengthening systems implementation and maintenance.

Industrial Engineering Manager

Leadership of a five person department, supporting the world’s largest stamping plant (2.7 Mil. sq. ft.) with 32 Press lines and 44 Weld Sub-Assembly lines including hoods, roofs, lift gates, body side apertures, fenders and floor pans for Chrysler vehicle assembly plants in North America and Venezuela. I focused the department on establishing common practices, kaizen development, data analysis for Single Minute Exchange of Dies (SMED) projects and integrating “Workplace Organization” with heavy emphasis on production support.
