Strategic Advisory Consultant

Working with a Silicon Valley software company and a local tech company that specializes in SEO and web site development including cloud, video, media and digital marketing.

Provided direction and assistance for Venture negotiations to strategically position equity investments/partnerships.

Advised on some high touch customer contract negotiations and with cloud server/storage related design & infrax concerns. Reviewed contracts and other associated docs.

Led SWOT analysis efforts and brainstorming sessions for strategic path forward road map.

CenturyLink Technology Solutions, Cloud Division (formerly Savvis), Denver, Colorado 2012 to 2014

Strategic Vendor & Contracts Manager

Responsible for all phases of developing and managing strategic alliances, cloud partner relationships, negotiating the agreements and ensuring the solutions and products were launched in the market place to enable revenue stream.

Led strategic sourcing and negotiations for over a dozen ISV, SaaS, Cloud services and Ecosystem Partner Agreements which increased Cloud revenue by 20%. (Msft O-365 + several other deals valued at 100M+)

Senior Contracts Manager

Reviewed and approved $35M in new business via Salesforce.com (SFDC) for Cisco's Advanced Services Division.

Worked with Sales Team to secure sales contracts for TelePresence, Stadium Vision, Quad Services/VCE, WebEx, Tidal, Cisco Unified Communications, Data Center Solutions, and several other Cisco Advanced Services offerings.

Hewlett-Packard 2004 to 2009

Senior Global Contracts Manager, IT Outsourcing & Professional Services

Responsible for reviewing and approving all SOWs, projects and project work associated with this $3B IT Professional Services outsourcing deal.

Provided expertise for renegotiation of the P&G outsourcing deal for Go Green initiative.

Helped design, re-design several business processes related to this new initiative. Included was a transformational project where HP absorbed and assimilated several hundred P&G employees into the HP culture. Additionally, we had to terminate several of those positions due to the over-arching outsourcing agreement, new way of handling P&G's IT needs and over-lapping job functions.

As an integral team member, worked with Global PMO to build out, develop and roll out new Statement of Work (SOW) templates, guidelines, processes, procedures, training and checklists in collaboration with PMO and Solutions Managers.

Improved margin and kept HP whole with the effective co-management of a $3B+ P&G IT outsourcing agreement.

Established a comprehensive FAQ Contract Knowledge Base that leveraged lessons learned in first three years of outsourcing contract.

Upon request of Global Procurement Manager, renegotiated 3rd Party Vendor software agreements and resolved relationship issues with IBM, Oracle, Symantec, BMC, CA, and Stellent among others, effectively saving HP over $10M.

Spearheaded a well received financial reconciliation project that saved HP $5M and was recognized by HP’s executive management team.

EARLY CAREER -- MARKETING, PRODUCT AND PROGRAM MANAGEMENT

HP, Global ISV Alliances Manager

Responsible for negotiating all international ISP license agreements so they could be bundled with system shipments.

Guided small business owners through developing strategic relations partner agreements, drafting business plans, employing technology, managing professional relationships, and practicing negotiation skills.
