CURRENT ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide L1 Support for the Ernst and Young global data center’s

Daily storage proactive health checks to avoid the hardware/software issues.

Extensive experience supporting storage area network in various hosts environment.

Managing different storage products include- HP3PAR (T & V-series ), HPXP(12K &

24K), EMC VMAX 40 K, VMAX 3 (200, 100K) EMC VNX (unified) Netapp (FAS3200),

HP left hand (P4500), Brocade (SAN, EDGE & TAPE ) switches.

Vendor co-ordination for the code/patch upgrades.

LUN Management, Monitoring, Storage pooling creating RAID groups, storage groups, different storage management tools like EMC Unisphere, Navipshere, command line etc. . Monitor array performance error logs and troubleshoot problems to enhance availability

Handling Incidents, Requests, Changes & problem management within the defined SLA.

SAN zone configuration and monitor any SAN hardware component failures which includes the various SAN array & switches.

Worked on Installing, Configuring, initiating and monitoring backups through Symantec net backup. Also administered Symantec net backup servers.

Monitor storage array performance, error logs and troubleshoot

Monitoring performance and provisioning of storage.

Addressing Incidents, Problems and Change Management activities.

Monitor any SAN hardware component failures which includes the various SAN array & switches.

The job also involves the mentoring of new joiners like conducting trainings (both classroom and on-job)

Monitoring all Cisco equipment’s using monitoring tools with SLA

Troubleshooting of network devices like Router, Switches, WAP

Configuring and troubleshooting any issues related to windows servers

Troubleshooting Server down alerts including production and non – production servers

Troubleshooting and fixing issues related to VM servers.

Monitoring and troubleshooting Domino server alerts

Handling HP operations manager, HP operations and orchestration, HP network node manager, SCOM, WHATSUP GOLD .COTROLM Tools

Fixing issues on Coex mail server

Daily, Weekly and monthly backups of servers using CONTROL M and fixing errors based on EXIT STATUS code

Fixing issues on agentless monitoring servers like site scope servers

Monitoring and fixing URL issues
