Description:

Financial Data tool is an UI created to render RTA tables which maintain static financial information. This tool is used to edit / view/ delete the transactions from the Table involved in RTA.
Real Time accounting (RTA) system is one such application that stores Activity and Position details of the retail customers received from various inbound application streams like Margins, Dividends, Insurance, IRA and AAA. These Activity and Position data are subsequently accessed by online applications like MS Online, 3D and statements and various other batch applications
In this project, I was working as a .Net developer and Created web pages to render RTA Table Data in C#.NET with Mainframe as backend. This also includes editing the table information and storing the data in the respective DB tables.

The purpose of the project is to remove the deprecated methods and functionalities of older framework by up gradation of the dll’s, web services and fixing the bugs present in the application. On completion of the migration the application is tested by providing the test data and delivered such that the same functionalities are maintained as before.

CAST-Application Intelligence Platform is an automated system for measuring the quality and size of business applications. It is an objective and repeatable way to measure and improve the Application Software Quality of multi-platform, multi-language, and multi-sourced applications. Morgan Stanley adopts CAST tool to analyze the applications across different silos.
The main objective of the project is to measure the quality of the business applications at the source code level. The applications are analyzed based on the scalability, robustness, maintainability, performance and other factors like business value of the application. It aims at analyzing applications of different silos across Morgan Stanley of various technologies like JAVA, DotNet and has generated the dashboard using the tool CAST-Application Intelligence Platform. The dashboards are published to the application groups and provided with the software engineering advice to improve their coding standard and quality.
