Project Description: Mobility Solutions based product development as both mobile App and Web-based, aimed as an Enterprise solution for managing home delivery services in optimal way. The application integrates efficient shipment routing solution and mobility solution. The routing solution implemented by third-party, has real-time GPS fleet tracking mechanism, optimal route scheduling algorithm based on destinations, technician skill set, third-party carriers and many more. The mobility solution comprises data management and user-interface for Warehouse Management System, in-store point of sale system, carrier partners, customer notifications etc. It has rich user interface, location based services, content management, database management, report generation etc. An end-user can use specific dashboards, use built-in features like task delegation, get accurate estimate, update orders, push notifications, monitoring and managing shipments, requesting customized reports and many more. The prospective uses of the product are in aiding a Warehouse Associate in managing daily shipments of retail outlet, getting its reports/analytics, task assigning, or POS associate to give accurate delivery windows etc.

Mobility Solutions had various layers, front end with rich UX/UI, and second layer for APIs, WebServices, especially using JAVA, Oracle SOA gateway and scripting, third layer for Database Management, Analytics, Report generation, job scheduling etc., which eventually connects to routing solutions.

Project Fellow June, 2014 – May, 2015 Indian Space Research Organization (Trivandrum, India)

Project: Software project development for ISRO through University of Kerala, as part of ISRO funded projects. Project aimed to study and improve telecommunication link performance in different channel conditions, along with better data rates, lower latency. A software based systems was implemented which has an Atmospheric channel modeling, telecommunication system simulation, database, algorithms, learning mechanisms etc. This system adaptively optimizes the Telecommunication link, based on channel conditions. The software prototype had set of algorithms, workflows implemented in MATLAB, MS Access based Database, data analyzing and interpreting mechanism, learning mechanism etc. which were software implemented. This holistically acted as a complete system in achieving the desired result. The crux of this prototype is in analyzing and interpreting external data against the Database, and invoking workflows accordingly.

The base programming was developed in MATLAB, and MS Access being accessed by SQL queries from MATLAB. The MATLAB programs were linked to specific modules developed in LabVIEW and C++ as well. It also accessed MS Excel in reading and writing data sheets/reports.

Responsibility: Assigned role of Project in-charge, due to a yearlong commendable GUI based software tool development for ISRO as an Intern, during Masters’ from 2012-2014. Played pivotal role in this from project conception, proposal writing, planning, requirement gathering, software/simulation development and testing

Project: Project: A GUI based software tool development in wireless communication domain, based on novel proposal submitted. It aimed to give an optimum system design parameters based on user inputs and other factors, for any link propagation channel condition. This extensively used MATLAB, C++, LabVIEW and MATLAB GUI programming.

Responsibility: Single-handedly designed and developed the software tool, which comprised research, system design, modeling, software development, testing etc.

-Proposed and designed a novel design optimization methodology as a solution, through close collaboration with Space Physics Laboratory (SPL) scientists, that can be used in future telecommunication projects

-Developed high level design of system, process flow, algorithm and flowchart

-Developed a complete communication system’s software prototype, using mainly MATLAB, LabVIEW, C++, GUI, Database Explorer, SQL, MS Access

-This involved atmospheric channel modeling and real time atmospheric condition simulation

-Simulating system for different communication parameters like modulation, wavelength, data rate, transmit power etc.
