Primarily responsible for book of business as acting manager, ensuring zero engagement write-offs are realized by monitoring accounts, timely preparation of client bills, collections and reconciliations to annual budget.

Prepare, detail review of basic to complex Federal and State tax returns for expatriates, foreign nationals and high net worth individuals taking into consideration certain deductions and credits unique to their situation.

Participate in the preparation and completion of international assignment-related calculations such as tax equalization calculations and other tax settlements for expatriate employees.

Prepare correspondence with IRS or state taxing authorities in relation to tax notices and/or audits for expatriates.

Research on various topics such as tax technical laws and regulations, treaty interpretation and application, residency test determinations, and payroll matters. Prepare the related communications for the client.

Perform client engagement planning and set-up activities including preparation and/or review of client engagement contracts, introductory assignee communications, profit margin projections, foreign office fee projections for global engagements and other assignment planning activities.
