Maize variety named Vivek QPM - 9, developed without genetic modification involving alien genes, it’s the first designer maize (Short duration crop) in India, developed through Molecular Marker Assisted Breeding.

1.Performing scientific services related to molecular and morphological characterization of maize, data analysis and marker genotyping.

2.Analysis of the maize grains for the estimation of quality traits viz. Total protein contents, Tryptophan contents through HPLC, LPLC and Microkjeldahl methods.

3.Determination of metal ions such as Na+, K+, Ca++, Mg++, Fe++ and Mn++ through Atomic absorption spectrophotometer (AAS).
