ZOLL Medical, Chelmsford, MA

Built strong relationships with all 24 Suppliers while being responsible for $12M in receipts and 400 materials. Structured supply chain solutions for a wide variety of commodities and improved on-time delivery from 64% to 97%. Negotiated cost savings that garnered $1.2M in 2 years through negotiated price reductions and engineering cost savings projects by locating the best cost with supplier and negotiating the lowest price.

Developed 3/6 month forecast module by applying sales growth and calculating monthly material usage to minimize production shortages and control inventory which reduced the number of part shortages to 1% for 2015 Q3 and Q4.

Supply Chain Demand Planning Manager - (2012-2014)

Bauer Hockey/Bauer Sports Performance, Exeter, NH

Lead all Demand Planning responsibilities for 3 categories: Bauer Hockey Accessories, Bauer Hockey TEAM Sales (NHL, NCAA, CHL and OHL), Maverik Lacrosse and Bauer/Mission Roller Hockey which accumulated $45M gross receipts and 400K SKUs.

Manage buying and forecasting functions of 4 different Branding Divisions generating annual $70 million sales. Accountability extends to monthly purchase orders and inventory receipt management. Utilized sales and forecasting tools to develop accurate forecasts and ensure Never Out of Stock programs met stock targets. Adhered to and exceeded yearly turn rates and lead monthly forecasting/buy meetings with senior sales managers.

Men's Shoes (Purchasing responsibility 2009-2012): Grew Men's annual sales to $30M; shipping 625,000 pairs from 545,000 in 2009; resulting in 11.5% increase. Consistently kept proper inventory levels of season carryover and Never Out of Stock styles; accounting for 34% of ECCO overall receipts. During 3 years, improved yearly turn to 4.1 from 2.9 and constructively reduced 2011 EOY stock to $11M from $24M by focusing on healthier replenishment inventory and eliminating obsolete and markdown pairs.

Ladies Shoes (Purchasing responsibility 2008-2010): Grew Ladies shipped sales to $25M annually by shipping 595,000 pairs from 571,000 in 2008; resulting in 4.2% increase. Achieved #1 shipping performance of Casual Bouillon shoe by delivering 120,000 pairs over 2 years resulting in +10% growths from 2009-2010. Met 2009 EOY stock target of 300,000 pairs by reduction of obsolete inventory of 65,000 pairs.

Selected Contributions:

Demonstrated leadership during 2009-2010, while Commercial Demand Department was absent a Demand Manager and company underwent SAP upgrade, was the primary liaison with international Demand Planning Team. Provided #1 customer, Nordstrom, as well as other top Key Accounts, all shoes for promotional events (Half Yearly events and Holiday events). This program annual target shipments consisted of 105000 pairs ($4.2 in sales) and was essential to driving promotional business within our Key Accounts. Collaborated with regional sales managers to find the right assortment mix and ensured supply chain would be able to meet demand for each event.

- Established ECO USA shipping report spreadsheet, using Microsoft Excel and SAP queries, to improve shipment tracking. Improved visibility of all incoming shipments from 8 factories which allowed for real-time loading dates. Calculated quarterly transit times for sea and air in order to improve accuracy of arrival dates. Reduced overall monthly US air expenses by making visible each material EOM stock projections with arrival times of shipments.

Men’s Retail Buyer/Planner - (1999-2006)
