Lead materials organization of 380 employees. Responsible for production control, warehousing, traffic, flight test and continuous improvement for G450/G550/G650/G500/G600 AC. November 2012 assumed role as Director of Business transformation to drive the change into the business and emphasize training prior to 1st implementation. Utilized my experience and exposure from the corporate headquarters in Savannah to establish a common goal and shared values. Drove process improvements through optimization of system utilization and consolidation, resulting in 98% reduction of shortages to final assembly operations. Provided leadership and coaching as we transformed our manufacturing plant from a traditionally managed plant to a Lean manufacturing facility.
Optimized flow of components by providing kits for line side delivery resulting in increased customer satisfaction and lower direct cost at final assembly.
