EXPERIENCE

Payroll Specialist/Human Resource Representative Oct 2014- present

Cactus Wellhead, LLC

Validate all new hires information, updates, and termination status changes into ADP.

Review elections on all new hires, transfers, and employee elected changes due to relocation. Make sure relocation agreements are complete and signed by employee.

Assist in the compilation and processing of payroll data for 600 employees.

Resolve payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information. Make sure all employee information is scanned into personnel file.

Handle pay and time attendance system making sure time is coded correctly and uploaded into ADP.

Maintain employee confidence and protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential.

Reviews personnel records to determine names, rates of pay, and occupations of newly hired workers, and changes in wage rates and job codes of employees on payroll.

Responsible for processing the payroll calculation jobs for all employees, resulting in an accurate and timely distribution of the company’s biweekly payroll.

Calculates all international and corporate payroll adjustments such as retro pay, terminations, new hires, leave of absences, overtime, exceptions, and accounting allocation changes between rigs in accordance with company policy.

Updates/reviews changes made to employee records due to employee accounts receivable, changes to direct deposit information, and form W4 and related state tax withholding changes.

Acts as liaison with the HR department for problem resolution and error corrections regarding deductions, increase/demotion in pay, withholdings, transfers and other various employment changes.

Enter and ensure all garnishment transactions are processed timely and accurately in the system.

Assist employees and external agencies by answering payroll related questions and requests

Prorate expenses to be debited or credited to each department for cost accounting records.
