Current Heartland Coop duties include AS400 Administration. Software install, upgrade, software administration. Writing queries. Coding programs. CLLE & RPGLE, SQLRPGLE & plain SQL. Also use Sequel. Take Help Desk Calls/Solutions. Break Fix and various other aspects. Network Issues. Equipment setup deployment. We widely utilize thin Clients. CLI-AG7600’s, but currently migrating to use 10ZIG thin clients as our standard. Virtual Desktops. Laptops. I-Phones.

Have adapted/deployed the 10ZIG clients to run 5250 Emulation. Developed a solution for the new standard to be able to automatically retrieve scale weights from the scale head to the transaction applications. Setup many type of printers. Also TUP900 KIOSK type printers. Which I modified the application program to print a record of the customers transaction to this printer. Of which sits outside on a pedestal. This allows the Truck Driver to retrieve a paper record of his transaction without getting out of his truck. Essentially getting the trucks grain dumped and/or thru as fast as possible at Harvest Time, is the name of the game.

Supporting a production Power Blade 8406 housed in an 8852. Also a Flex System P260 Node. Running performed the upgrades here and previous employers. But currently at OS7.1 Current Cumulative PTF’s SF99710 and all groups SF99711.

Have built Virtual LPAR’s. Using Flex System manager. Adding physical disks and making available to the System V5000 & DS3400, DS3524 SAN administrative interfaces.

Software Utilized/Administrated includes of course MS Office Products but also many other Windows Based Apps like, RDI development studio Software. Iseries Access. Wireshark. 10ZIG Thin Client Administration. PUTTY CLI software. Previously Administrated Lotus Notes. But Migrated to MS Office Outlook March 2015.

Code in RPGLE, CLLE, RPGLESQL. DB Business Maintenance programs. Display Subfiles.

Also some PERL script programming. Usually to fix the IBM bugs in our AMM.

FMG eliteFORM – Merge standard AS400 reports with document form overlays.

OPTIMUM – Payroll and HR solution software.

FormSprint – Somewhat like FMG. You seem to be able to get more meticulous or detailed with Special Printed Forms designing. Again it merges the standard *SCS print file info with a form you design. Generates a PCL data stream that is routed automatically to the specific IBM I defined remote writer (Coop Locations) or other capable defined print device.

IMS21 – Imagine Software for long term storage/retrieval of any type of document.

Zend Server 8 for IBM I – PHP

iSeries RPG2SQL – Although somewhat being phased out by GOANYWHERE and other JDBC type solutions.
