WORK EXPERIENCE:

Human Resources Assistant: duties included assisting payroll processing for 125 employees, medical and dental insurance enrollment

and benefits, 401(k) plan, tracking vacation time for employees, processing unemployment and worker compensation claims, verification

of employment, and time and labor tracking by job order. I also had back up duties for accounts receivable and accounts payable –

A/P invoicing, updates to customer accounts, handling new request for customer account credit line, receiving and posting in QuickBooks

all accounts receivables and running A/R accounts over 30 days report for monitoring.

preparation of payroll related reports/spreadsheets to support Finance Department, preparing and posting all payroll GL entries into SAP, maintain accurate vacation/pto records, process all incentive payments quarterly and annually, assist in researching and resolving differences discovered in GL account reconciliation, prepare and process all accruals for month end for benefits and vacation, support benefits administration, coordinate and oversee year end payroll reporting for federal, state and local taxing authorities, responsible for depreciation of Fixed Assets at month end close, maintain mileage reporting for staff use of company vehicle for personal use for tax and payroll purposes and also process A/P invoices as needed in SAP VIM system.
