I run a private firm where the main work involves making translations from English to Swedish, but also proofreading of texts.

Oct 2010 – Jun 2012 Personal Instructor, Växjö Fria Fordonsgymnasium (Independent High School of Vehicles) through Alvesta Rural District, Växjö, Sweden.

I worked together with a student diagnosed with ADHD. The employment required that I planned the student’s daily school work, and also had contacts with teachers and parents on a daily basis. I was responsible for making the student do the school work based on the demands found in the Swedish grade system in order for the student to pass.

Dec 2008 – Oct 2009 Teacher in the Higher and Lower Level of the Compulsory School, Alvesta Rural District, Moheda, Sweden.

The employment consisted of working with students in the ages 6-14 as a home-room teacher, and also working with students with special needs concerning the subjects English and Swedish. The employment also included being an instructor at an after-school recreation centre for junior school children.

Jan 2007 – Apr 2010 Nurse’s Assistant, Sävsjö Municipalty, Rörvik, Sweden.

Care of the elderly in their daily lives. The work carried out was daily hygiene, cleaning, purchasing of foodstuffs, activation, and some medicine handling.

Cleaning of school premises which included classrooms, carpentry and handicraft rooms, sports centre, entrances, and corridors.

I worked at the reception desk with hotel reservations, checking –in and checking-out guests, cash handling, and individual welcoming of hotel guests. In the employment the cleaning of hotel rooms, conference rooms, and corridors also was required.

English, very good knowledge both verbally and in writing.

Computer literacy

Accustomed working with Windows. I also handle the usual Office programmes and I have hands-on experience of the computer-assisted translation programme SDL Trados.
