Senior Interactive and Print Designer
Marketing and Communications Department Lead Designer, worked collaboratively with copywriters and marketing managers to create materials for system-wide and branch initiatives.
Key Accomplishments:
Working with external design firm, created a new, overall library brand identity now being utilized by all departments and across all platforms.
Created a style guide that each department adheres to for consistency.
Incorporated flyers and posters into category brochure to give customers location choices for events.
Created categories by target audience, then program type. Categories are color coded to make selection easier.
In addition to achieving corporate cohesiveness, corporation was able to save money in design and print costs on the 12k requests annually.
Working off a creative brief; conceived, designed and created promotional pieces in keeping with latest trends, including full spectrum of digital, social media/print designs and materials.

Created a touch screen kiosk interface that customers used at one of our sites
Designed and produced quarterly and annual employee and customer newsletters.
Designed and produced MTA’s route timetables and departure boards for print and internet applications.
Created 5,000 +/- custom interior and exterior signage pieces annually including ADA bus posters, car cards, and service notices.
Created logos and customer promotional materials such as brochures, posters, flyers, banners for customer and/or political events during which branded free gifts were distributed to market various bus services being promoted.
Designed publicity materials for corporate events such as 25th Anniversary and MetroCard.

6-week freelance job working as one of the creative consultants for TV reality show.
Key Accomplishments:
In preparation for filming the show, 2 teams test marketed specific projects that were proposed to ensure they were suitable for TV. The teams had to exactly duplicate what would happen in each step of the task from start to finish before it was allowed to be utilized during the show to make certain it would make entertaining TV for viewing audiences to watch.
Brainstormed, troubleshot with producers and crew on upcoming shows and tasks for contestants.
Utilized marketing, art-direction skills and advertising background, again working in 2 teams to market a product, in this case a wedding cake, that was the center of the project.
