I am an HSE Specialist with over 10 years of industrial hygiene, safety, & environmental health experience. I have conducted numerous workplace safety & health audits, including many types of safety and health training sessions. I perform health, safety, and environmental audits of work site and training for employees of the customer and for new HSE team members. I have performed risk assessments and safety program development with PPE assessment and respiratory protection use, training, and selection. I perform all forms of active/passive air sampling, used several direct read instruments, and noise monitoring/noise surveys for various chemical and petrochemical companies. I have evaluated permit required confined space entries and exhaust ventilation flow measurements. I conduct environmental testing of work site area checking for unwanted chemicals in air or water and also check equipment for possible radiation exposure. I compose reports on the exposure data collected or specific safety improvements and give a best course of action to attain the Safety and Health goal for the company.

I performed health and safety inspections, industrial hygiene sampling sessions, and VPP audits, while evaluating the job hazard analysis of front-line employees working various industrial processes. I performed numerous training sessions with new OSHA employees and employees of the customer at the inspection site on a variety of Safety and Health topics. A variety of sampling equipment was used to identify safety & health hazards and corrective actions were recommended. I composed reports of exposure data collected and the laboratory analysis, then evaluated results to best way to achieve OSHA compliance or specific company goals.

I was responsible for the health & safety of the employees and jobsite for contracted environmental remediation projects. I ensured compliance with OSHA and EPA regulatory guidelines for the containment, personal protective equipment, and required training programs. I performed safety and health inspections, using sampling equipment to collect data for chemical makeup analysis and communicated those findings with jobsite contractors. I conducted training sessions for employees every shift and when discrepancies were found that needed attention.
