Managed construction of tunnel, shaft, and river intake structure. Supervised team of 10 inspectors, engineers, and document controls. Work completed using rock blasting on time with no safety incidents or claims by nearby residents.

Led team of 6 engineers to resolve failing Cutler-Hammer motor starters. Team analyzed problem to determine scope and cause of problem. Forced Cutler-Hammer to provide 100 new replacement starters at no additional cost to Owner.

Administered shop drawing reviews for $400 Million wastewater facility. Managed team of 15 engineers, architects, and document controls in multiple offices to review and approve over 2,000 submittals and RFIs. Maintained high quality reviews within time requirements.

Supervised team of 5 inspectors in construction of $200 Million waste facility. Maintained good working relationship with contractors while ensuring high quality construction. Project completed on time and on budget.

Directed equipment start-up and commissioning for large Wastewater (sedimentation/ aeration) facility. Managed team of 5 mechanical/electrical/structural inspectors during start-ups of pumps, compressors, drives, instrumentation, and programming controls.

Negotiated fast-track (alternative project delivery) projects for environmental remediation. Established system for demolition of multiple (unsafe) buildings, prior to environmental site remediation, and placement of demolition debris in on-site landfill. This innovative solution reduced disposal costs and expedited progress while satisfying EPA and local requirements.

Designed material handling systems for the excavation/dewatering/screening of 10,000 cubic yards of contaminated soils and pond sediments. Newtown Creek Water Pollution Control Facility, Brooklyn, NY: October 2009 to February 2014. Deputy Contract Manager. $400 Million construction of Central Residuals Facility for largest wastewater treatment facility in NYC. Schiavone / Five Star/ WDF. Newtown Creek Water Pollution Control Facility, Brooklyn, NY: December 2007 to October 2009. Lead Civil Engineer. $225 Million renovation of Central Battery for largest wastewater treatment facility in NYC. Skanska Construction.

Baldwin Water Treatment Plant, Cleveland Water Department, Cleveland, Ohio: Spring 2001 to December 2007. Norumbega Water Storage Facility, MWRA, Boston, Massachusetts: December 1999 to January 2001. Senior resident engineer. $90 Million design/build construction of 115 million gallon water storage facility. J.F. White Construction.

O.B. Curtis Water Treatment Facility, Jackson, Mississippi: March 1997 to September 1998. Resident Engineer. $10 Million construction of alum-sludge treatment including centrifuge facility. Don M. Barron Construction.
