SUMMARY
WORK EXPERIENCE
Worked in multidisciplinary and multicultural environments. Team worker, proactive with good communication and presentation skills. Remote location experience, such as Morocco and Namibia with no restrictions in terms of work location. Fluent in 4 different languages. During my childhood, lived abroad: 3 years in Italy, 1 years in Argentina & 1 years in Brazil, always studying in International Schools.
Worked 4 years as Onshore/Ops Drilling Engineer on tender processes, SoW, internal manuals set up, regulatory issues, EIA, site surveys, geotechnical surveys, offset wells study, budgets, well designs, drilling programs, meetings with stakeholders, rig contracts, rig ITT, rig inspection and acceptance requirements, followed and revised daily drilling operations, EOWRs, and project close-out analysis.
As Wellsite Drilling Engineer followed the daily operations and elaborated the operational documents, such as, work instructions, lookahead, lessons learned, after action reviews, programmes, casing and cementing operations, invisible lost time, daily performance and detailed costs forecasts for additional operations (supplemental AFE). 2011 - to date GALP Energia – Well Engineer
Active contributor to the in-house Well Operations database. Follow-up of operations (drilling, testing, completions & workovers) of GALP assets in Portugal, Brazil, Angola, Mozambique, and Morocco. Exposed to different operational environments, from onshore to ultra-deep water operations, with a wide diversity of rigs, from workover land rigs, Jack-Up’s, Semi Submersibles to ultra-deep water dual activity Drillships.
Part of Steering Committee for the planning phase in the first offshore well operated by GALP. TAO-1 Deviated Exploration Well offshore Morocco, in Tarfaya Offshore basin, on the HDJU Rowan Ralph Coffman, in 105m WD – first well ever drilled with a JU offshore Morocco.
Main Projects in GALP Energia
GALP Energia / Senergy – Operations Drilling Engineer 2014
Assigned to an offshore operation in Morocco (HDJU Rowan Ralph Coffman) as an Operations Drilling Engineer, to follow and assist in the drilling and logistics planning, execution and reporting. Dedicated MPD training for drilling team in Ops Support Base. GALP Energia / Senergy – Wellsite Drilling Engineer 2014
Assigned to an offshore operation in Morocco (HDJU Rowan Ralph Coffman) as a Wellsite Drilling Engineer. MPD technology present on the rig as a contingency. Weatherford provided offshore MPD training for all personnel onboard. Onboard for wet tow from Las Palmas & preloading. Drilled 36” hole and set a 30” conductor. Drilled 26” hole and set a 20” surface casing. Drilled 17-1/2” hole and set a 13- 3/8” casing. Drilled 12-1/4” hole, with MPD as a contingency. No wireline logging required due to extensive M/LWD suite (SADN, GeoVision, GVR, Telescope), so just normal P&A. On-board geotechnical vessel to perform borehole drilling with CPT/PCPT technology, ensuring it was feasible to drill offshore Morocco with a JU. GALP Energia / HRT / Senergy – Operations & Wellsite Drilling Engineer 2013
Assigned to an offshore operation in Namibia (SS Transocean Marianas) as a Secondee. Spent time on the Operations Support Base and on the rig. Participated in the 3 well campaign from deep water to ultra-deep water environment in Walvis & Orange basins. Drilled Wingat in 1000m WD, Murombe in 1500m WD, and Moosehead in 2000m WD. Page 2/2
Jetted 36” conductor. Drilled straight away with CADA tool 26” hole and set 20” surface casing. Drilled 17-1/2” hole and set 13-3/8” casing. Drilled 12-1/4” hole and set 9-5/8” casing. Drilled 8-1/2” hole to TD. Used Seismic While Drilling tool during the well. Performed extended logging on wireline (including MDT & RSWC) and P&A. GALP Energia / Mohave / AGR – Wellsite Drilling Engineer 2012
Assigned to a land operation in Portugal (workover rig Deutag T-61) as a Wellsite Drilling Engineer. GALP’s first well onshore Portugal in Lusitanian Basin. Drilled a 22” hole with a water well rig, and set a 20” conductor. Drilled 17-1/2” hole and set a 13-3/8” surface casing. Drilled 12-1/4” hole and set 9-5/8” intermediate casing. Air drilled 8-1/2” hole with a hammer bit, and set the contingent 7” liner. Drilled 6-1/8” hole to TD. Performed extended logging on wireline (including RSWC) and P&A. 2011 Saint Gobain Sekurit Portugal – Manufacturing Engineer Member of worldwide MKT2 (Manufacturing Knowledge Training and Transfer) program. Engaged in software development, operator training, and manufacturing optimization. 2009 & 2010 Key Plastics Portugal – Process/Maintenance Technician (Intern) Internships (2) focused on maintenance and assembly of plastic injection moulds and injection machines. Exposed to all plastic injection processes developed in Key Plastics. 2005 Delphi Packard – Production Line Intern
Internship in Neumarkt, Germany plant. Aided in Production line and Stock department. EDUCATION
