Banking Software Development

Created a secure banking software which performs banking transactions and handles user accounts over the web. Features like One Time Passwords (OTP), Account locks and Salted Password Hashing were implemented.

Developed an android application to obtain the real time location of public transport services using Mobile Crowdsourcing characterized by GPS technology.

Passengers on the bus update their location every 15 seconds to the server. Persons waiting for the bus at designated stops use this information to locate their transport. Reduced costs by 70% as there was no need for dedicated hardware. WORK EXPERIENCE

Omedix Inc, Scottsdale, Arizona, United States May 2015 – Aug 2015 Software Engineering Intern

Developed a python based application that mines huge epidemic datasets, identifies top latent semantics using Latent Dirichlet Allocation and maps them into a new dimensional space using FastMap.

Determined the most dominant node using Page Rank and visualized the results in the form of heat map. This application helped in predicting the occurrence of epidemic in a particular state. Infosys Technologies Ltd, Mysore, India Jan 2014 – July 2014 Systems Engineer

Designed and implemented in Java, features of Infosys Finacle which handled the management of loans for various clients in the banking sector. Front end of the application was developed using CSS3, AngularJS.

Furthermore, fixed defects and optimized the existing code base. Project efficiency was improved by 80% on adopting the Agile Methodology.

Developed a web application using Ruby on Rails which enabled the users to create accounts and communicate with each other. Normal user could view, post messages while the secret messages will be visible only to the secret users.
