Community English School August 2012 May 2013 2501 N Blackwelder Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73106. 317-***-**** I was teaching elementary school students as a tutor when I was pursuing Bachelor degree in China and I would like to work with kids; because they make me want to be a teacher from that moment, and when I was working on my Master Degree in TESL program in Oklahoma City University, I was teaching Spanish speakers English in community English school as a volunteer in Oklahoma City University (OCU), and a tutor for reading in Westwood Elementary School, it was a good experience to teach and tutor different kind levels of students in USA. I observed and taught ESL classes in English Learning Center (ELS) for almost a half year and know more about the culture differences. I was a part time facilitator in Robots-4-U in my summer break and got more close to American culture, and now I worked with African American in Alexis Rainbow Arts Academy and taught Pre-K and Kindergarten students Chinese and math.
Moreover, I usually teach kids in Sunday school in Northwest Baptist Church, and it gives me opportunities to apply my teaching methods to my students. Activities: I enjoyed actively participating in school studies in BCM on Tuesday and Wednesday morning, and I learnt a lot about American cultures and American slangs, it was a good time to experience American people. And I am also a member in TESL Club, OCU, I usually attended in the conversation club about TESL programs and took part in conversation café on Tuesday in Heritage Church, I made a lot of friends in these kinds of culture atmosphere
