Experience and interpersonal interaction with patients/ clients ranging from young adult to geriatric
Participate in the planning and evaluation of patient needs based on patient behaviors under the supervision of the staff nurse
Responsible for providing direct patient care services in accordance with the treatment plan
Handle the tasks of assisting staff nurse in providing safe and therapeutic environment according to established policies and procedures
Responsible for monitoring, evaluating, and recording patient’s progress with respect to treatment goals
Collaborate with physicians, counselors, and nurses to plan and coordinate treatment as per the requirement of patients
Responsible for observing the signs, symptoms and behaviors of patients in the hospital
Handle tasks of updating the level of agitation, concerns and complaints to the registered nurse
Perform patient care assignments and in a manner that will reduce patients anxiety and promote cooperation
Carry out special patient observations like hourly rounds, constant and acute observations
Assist in behavioral patient interventions as needed under the direction of registered nurse and program director
Daily documentation, holistic assessment, medication administration, providing verbal reports and participating in group activities
