Dragon vs Man - 2D Gaming project (Aug – Nov 2015): Developed a game incorporating a theme and conclusion – Man Vs Dragon. The game is data driven and has parallax scrolling, painter’s algorithm incorporated to give depth to the game and object pooling and animations which includes projectiles, collision detection and explosions, HUD and health bar on current status of game. Game is developed in c++ using singleton and flyweight design patterns

Digit Recognizer (Aug – Nov 2015): Machine learning project to recognize digits from MNIST dataset. Hand Written Digits Recognition is done with algorithms – neural network, Naïve Bayes, KNN, SVM and a final comparison of prediction based on accuracy of results by these algorithms is done. Project implemented in java, R

Evaluation of Information Retrieval models (Jan – May 2015): Implemented Boolean, Ranked and Okapi retrieval models on Reuters’ XML parsed data and performed search query with models and evaluate their performance on factors like precision, recall. A web page was linked to the ranked retrieval system by fetching results from Hadoop. Project implemented in java

Instructor & course review portal (Aug-Dec 2014): A review portal attached to current online course selection process where current students can provide feedback on professors, which can be viewed by prospective students to get better picture on courses. Project implemented in java, MySQL, java script on apache tomcat server PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
