Assistant Property Manager 2014-2015

Finding Tenants- property managers are responsible for marketing the property to fill vacancies. They know where to advertise and what to include in their ads. They also understand what attracts tenants, so they can suggest making cosmetic improvements to help makeover the property.

Marketing- kept properties occupied with qualified tenants through advertising, lead follow up, property showings for prospective tenants.

Tenant Relations- developed rental agreements, selected qualified tenants, collected deposits and rents, enforces terms of rental agreements, resolved tenant complaints, oversees eviction proceedings if necessary.

Financial Reporting- kept financial records for property operations, created monthly financial reports for property owner.

Screening Tenants- was responsible for sorting through the prospective tenant applications to find the tenant that is the best fit for your property, had a consistent screening process, including running credit checks and criminal background checks.
