PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

November 2013 – March 2016.

SENIOR QA/QC INSPECTOR, QIC Inc., Houston Texas.

Oversee the fabrication of FMC subsea equipment such as pipe pups, well jumpers, manifolds, PLETs and associated structural components.

Interface with customer inspectors and end users to resolve quality issues and ensure timely delivery.

Witness volumetric surface NDE on pre-weld, semi-finished and finished parts.

Witness PMI on dissimilar metal welds containing corrosion resistant alloys.

Review NDE report and RT film for conformance to specification.

Witness visual and dimensional inspection before and after welding, as well as monitoring welding operations.

Witness mechanical testing such as CVN, tensile and bend tests.

Verify anchor profile and conditions before coating, and witness holiday and adhesion tests after coating operations.

Fit up and visual inspection before, during and after welding of piping and associated structural components involved in blow out preventer packages (choke and kill lines, hydraulic lines, risers, inner and outer barrels)

Inspect and monitor welding processes such as GTAW, SMAW, GMAW, SAW.

Witness overlay and inlay of corrosion resistant alloys utilizing GTAW-Pulsed hot wire (Arc 5 & 6) & Robotic GMAW.

Check and verify MTR’S of every material to be welded, as well as verifying WPS compatibility with base metals.

Monitor welder performance qualifications.

Inspect and monitor the welding of BOP bodies, as well as SBOP upper and lower bodies.

Inspect the fit up and monitor welding of upper and lower stacks and LMRP structural components.

Inspection of reworked parts.
