Summary
I have 30 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation in off shore platforms, pipeline, and gas processing, petrochemical, chemical industries in the industrial sectors of Oil and Gas. With over 10 years in project management and team supervision in several areas of electrical construction and QAQC inspection services, Project Coordination, Construction Rep. This is complimented with extensive knowledge in the following; process interpretation, conceptual design and layout of instrumented and electrical devices, electrical and lighting calculations based on foot candles specified by OSHA, specifications and procurement of instrument and electrical equipment. Understanding of one-lines, schematics, loops, power distribution, heat trace design / installation and installation practices, connection diagrams, panel schedules, module layout and design, layout and design of motor control centers, medium voltage switch-gear, Superintendent for the installation and commissioning of PLC, and DCS installations and conversions. Currently, I hold an Electrical Master License for the State of Louisiana. I am familiar with the regulating codes of installation and safety practices of North America’s governing agencies.

Aug 2013 to Sep 2015 Star Engineering Services, Inc. – Project Coordinator
Project Coordinator, instrument and electrical QAQC Inspector and Construction Consultant over the electrical/instrument/automation contractor for new construction and installation of the Kodiak subsea tieback project with Deep Gulf Energy/MC-773 ENI’s Devil’s Tower SPAR. I have worked on a construction through startup of the ST-232 project for LLOG offshore production platform working with subcontractors and upper management to maintain schedule and budget, Engineering and management changes, keeping up with, updating drawings during the course of the project, complete all necessary documentation after commissioning, it is my responsibility to be able to maintain a level of competency and ensure construction moves forward without any delays.
Aug 2012 to Sep 2013 Tailing, LLC. – Contruction Representative (For the Client);
Construction representative on a offshore platform prepairing for a 17 day turnaround and the pre installation of the platforms process and controlled equipment that will be commissioned at the end of August. Both Shell Platforms, GB128 and GB-172 have been under construction for this process additional equipment since october 2012. During this Time my duties included project planning, scheduling and contractor realieability on construction efforts to meet schedule and budget. These installation upgrades include the following equipment and instruments that have been installed during management phase of this project. Chemical injection system, fuel gas skid, potable water tank, PLC / Triconex PLC upgrade and programming configuration. Install several new automated valves with the addition of new home run cables and added junction boxes. Along with the typical engineered items after HAZOP other S/D items were added into which these items were carefully monitored and proper paperwork was to be filled out. I was instrumental in the scheduling and layout of I/O checkout and signoff. Creating a check sheet breaking it down to process related checkout and using the clients formatted signoff sheet. These procreedures were executed on both platforms and was a success.
May 2010 to Aug 2012 Integrity Inspections Services – Project Coordinator
Project instrument and electrical QAQC Inspector and Construction Manager over the electrical subcontractor and electrical contractor for a major up stream project for TGGT in North east Texas. Working with subcontractors and upper management to maintain schedule and budget. Engineering and management made several changes during the course of the project and it was my responsibility to be able to maintain a level of competency and ensure construction moved forward without any delays. This was a 1BB SCFPD facility when in full production. The original scope was to install 1 of seven trains and make preparations for the other six when demand allows. The P&C Building was a total of 2MW broke out into 6 divisions of main transformers with the capability of 4 MW total.
Coordinate and over saw electrical/instrumentation projects from construction through commissioning and start up at Kinder/Morgan Pasadena Terminal, Galena Park Terminal, Deer Park Rail Terminal and the Jefferson ST Truck Rack in the SE Houston area
Oct 2009 to May 2010 MMR- Electrical Contractor – Coordinator / Supervisor
This position was only for the duration of this project only. Coordinated construction between the client and other subcontractors as well as supervised the electrical construction and installation of devices and electrical equipment including medium voltage substation and transformer to supply for a newly installed MCC to each of the units that we had the contract on. Worked with the public utility company (ENTERGY) to get specification and deliver a schedule for which utility power was to be turned on.
Worked on the maintenance and trouble shooting crews on several off shore platforms (Shell, BP, Enterprise, Enbridge and Williams.
April 2008 to Sep 2009 PCMS – Project Coordinator
Coordinated and over saw Electrical/Instrumentation and construction Contractors, venders and suppliers, inspected, tracked and planned, commissioned and started up projects for Enbridge, PXP, TOTAL, the FAA and W&T. Projects included rebuilding a gathering station in Gordon, TX for Enbridge by adding a new MCC and rewiring the entire plant powered from a 12.5KV feed from the utility power company TXU, over saw the construction and installation of a new communication building on TOTAL’s VK823 platform in the Gulf of Mexico. Over saw the addition of a new MCC and rewire of W&T’s WC310 platform also in the Gulf of Mexico.

Supervised other employees working, on electrical/instrumentation projects for BP Pipelines, Enterprise Production, Stone Oil, TOTAL, ICON, McMoran Oil and Gas and Maritech. Responsible for assigning task to employees under my supervision, tracking progress of the project, order material and coordinate transport of personnel and material, commissioned and started.
