OFFSHORE RIG OPERATIONS:

To Coordinate with the Central Control Room, and related departments during drilling operations.

Logistics handling for Supply Vessels and Helicopter Landing.

To coordinate with the Supply Vessels and Helicopter during emergency situations on Rig and Platforms.

To plan Incoming / Outgoing passengers requirements and provide assistance for crew change operations on Rigs & Platforms.

Radio Room alert at all times during general or emergency situations and to ensure safety of life at sea and onshore terminal is maintained.

PREPARATION & UPADTING OF DAILY OFFICE REPORTS :

To prepare Daily Reports such as DPR, Supply vessel reports of HSD, FW, LO, Engine hours, Helicopter Schedule, Helicopter Pax Manifest, Work Permits & Mock Drill Report,

Daily Marine Report, Daily Midnight Report for Supply Vessels and Helicopter Landing.

Crew Coordination and related matters, Correspondences.

MARINE TRAFFIC CONTROL:

To monitor supply ships movement during Drilling operations, Production duties, Helicopter operations, cargo operations, day & night security patrolling operations etc.

To receive offshore weather information from the ships during Helicopter operations.

To keep supply ships standby and alert during Helicopter & Drilling operations.

To coordinate with the ships during emergency situations on the Rigs Helicopter etc.

Have worked on Sailor/JRC/ICOM/ FURUNO VHF, MF HF/SSB/INMARSAT/VSAT/AERO VHF and Satellite Circuits.

Besides doing Radio Officers job, Radio Traffic on Marine VHF/MF-HF/INMARSAT/VSAT and Other Marine Communication Radio Equipment. I have been handling Air Traffic on Aero VHF for Helicopter Landing, Administration Logistics, Port Formalities, Crew-Management/Rig POB, Documentation/etc.
