Had the opportunity to work with hands on servicing the vehicles.
PROJECTS AND RESEARCH PAPER
Development of experimental test rig of active suspension for a quarter car model.
Test rig developed using the principles of walking beam mechanism, feedback control loops, linear pneumatic servo mathematical model. Developed MATLAB simulation for studying the time and frequency response of the system to various input displacements.
BAJA SAE INDIA 2014 Vice-Captain, Design Team Head May 2013- Feb 2014
Co-led a team of 25 members, managed finances and procurement of the material for the fabrication of All Terrain Vehicle. Led team design of Roll-cage, analyzed various loading conditions, and iteratively improved the design. Used differential finite element attribution method to evaluate various stress zones and distributions around critical joints, welds and bends. SAENIS EFFICYCLE 2012 Jul 2012- Oct 2012
A tricycle fabrication project with recumbent seating and electric drive powered by a 10hp BLDC motor. Modelled the trike in SolidWorks. Did structural and modal analysis in ANSYS Mechanical APDL. Extra-curricular Achievements:
Finalist HULT Prize-2016
Finalist at HULT Prize 2016 Urban Impact finals at Boston in March, 2016. Manufacturing Team member Hyperloop 2016
Working as manufacturing team member for fabrication of POD, concept based on Magnetic Levitation. Focussed on quality standards in fabrication and six sigma achievements. Research Paper: Simulation of Roll-cage of an All-Terrain Vehicle Attributing Differential Finite Element International Journal for Scientific Research, Mechanical and Civil Engineering chapter, April 2014 Studied the attributions of 2 node, 3 node pipe and elbow elements on design and analysis of an ATV rollcage and validated using previous literature study in ANSYS.
