2008 – 2015 PROCESS ENGINEERING MANAGER, Saft America Inc. Valdosta, GA. Worked with Ford, Freightliner, Spartan, and Workhorse chassis’s. Design using AutoCAD in 3D, Robocast storage boxes, holding tanks, floors, truss system, plumbing system, LP gas lines, slide out rooms, composite (aluminum & fiberglass) side walls, and storage doors.

Directed product development of Office Furniture Products, maintenance support, product extensions, and cost improvements. Direct and monitor all personnel activities within engineering areas including work force forecasting, wage increases, staff assignments, promotions, and performance reviews. Maintain and develop products to meet BIFMA, CSA, & UL., along with specific codes and standards. Respond to UL Variation notices. Develop engineering documentation system. Products include castings, extrusions (Aluminum, PVC), injection moldings, stampings, tubing, assemblies, weldments, metals, powdered metals, plastic vacuum forming and wood.

from concept to implementation for special products. Products include castings, extrusions, injection moldings, stampings, vacuum forming and wood. Responsible for engineering assessments on special bids. Perform internal ISO audits.

Reduced lead times by 28%, allowed customer to launch product on time.

Assisted Customer Service and Sales with Project mock-ups for six years with a 98.5% shipment completion rate. Allowed Sales to respond to customers’ needs quickly in the bidding stage.
