Summary:

Geologist Engineer (Sedimentologist) and Wellsite Geologist within Subsurface team at JV Gas (BP/Statoil/Sonatrach) with good experience in vertical, deviated and horizontal wells including producer and injector wells.

Good in formation evaluation (FEMWD), supervision & Quality Control the process of data acquisition, Wireline Logging, coring process and VSP job. Prepare all kind of report and geological data needed prior drilling activity. I have good knowledge about drilling operations also log interpretation and well to well correlation.

June 2010 – Present: Wellsite Geologist within Subsurface Team at JV Gas

(British Petroleum/Statoil/Sonatrach joint venture) Wellsite: Tiguentourine (In Amenas project, Algeria). Hassi Moumen, Garet El Befinat, Gour Mahmoud (In Salah Gas project, Algeria).

Responsibilities:

Evaluate offset data before the start of drilling.

Review of all drilling risks (wellbore instability) prior to each hole section and offer advice to oil company representatives.

Participation in pre-spud meeting, review technical package and statement-of- requirements, objectives and drilling program, correlation/offset logs, maps and geological prognoses.

Cuttings description & geological correlations: to identify the rock being drilled and recognise the formation characteristics in order to know the stratigraphical position and met the wells objectif.

Monitor the gas from the borehole, make sure the gas system is working fine and formation gas is recorded analysed and reported correctly.

Check hydrocarbon and H2S readings, MasterLog data and mud logging equipment regular testing.

Pick the formation tops, casing and coring point decision, supervise core processing operation: selection, recovery, preservation and description.

File a daily geological report (DGR) with the operations and development geology and send data to town like drilling data, gas data, logging data, mud logs, drill logs and surveys,.. by 6:30am each morning. Geological update in the afternoon

(4:00pm), check data and make sure are correct and met town requirements.

Produce and contribute to different kind of reports daily geological report (using OpenWells software), geological composite logs (using GEO log drawing software), final well report, wellsite databook and send these to operations geologist and to the appropriate departments.

Well logging witness: make sure the logging operations go as per well program and check data quality control and logs acquisition prior to sending to Company office.

Evaluate interested zones and pressure test for pressure profile

Provide drilling team with information on formation changes and assist in bit trip decisions.

Comparing data gathered during drilling with predictions made at the offset well operation.

Wellsite interpretation of the formation evaluation data.

Guide and Assist for Geo-steer the wells in the horizontal reservoir section using LWD and Real Time Images to pick the sweet spot.

Take full responsibility for making decisions about suspending or continuing drilling.

Incorporate health and safety requirements in daily geological operations. Education Achievements
