Objective: To work in a an environment where I can utilize a variety of my skills and

knowledge in heavy equipment mechanical repair, carpentry/construction, and military

experiences. To acquire new knowledge and skills in the field.

Eductation and Experience:

91L Heavy Construction Equipment Mechanic - United States Army. Duties include

maintnenance and repair for a variety of military constructin equipment as well as many

different light and heavy wheeled vehicals; also includes determination and ordering of

parts needed for repairs/replacements. Additional responsibilities include but not limited

to attending additional training classes and Field Training Exercises, operation of snow

plows during winter months for clearance of roads and parking lots, and repair and

maintenance of Unit's lawncare equipment. ($25K/year, October 25, 2010 present)

Line Operator - Pioneer Seed Co. (via Manpower temp. agency) Algona, IA. Duties

included providing quality assurance on conveyor belt line and moving pallets using

warehouse forklift. ($11.50/hour, August 2010 - October 2010; resigned to join military)

General Laborer Pimera Foods (via Manpower temp. Agency) Britt, IA. Duties

included processing eggs for distribution by operating the egg washer, packaging the

eggs, operating the package wrapping machine and utilizing hand pallet jacks to move the

packaged eggs into a large cocoler for loading/shipping. ($8/hour, January 2010

February 2010; temporary/fill-in position)

Newspaper Delivery Des Moines Register, Algona, IA. Duties included daily

organization of route changes, bundling, and delivery of papers to specified recipients on

route (1:00a.m. - 4:00a.m.) including route changes on weekends. (payment dependent

upon number of recipients, December 2009 february 2010; stopped due to conflict with

day job)

merchandise from (various vendors) stock, and packaging for shipment to multiple

General Education studies, as well as focused studies in blueprinting and wiring.

Education studies as well as focused studies, receiving Dual Credit in Automotive and

Carpentry from Iowa Lakes Community College. ( August 2004 to December 2006)

individual ingredients, preparation of products by the customer's specifications, point of

sales/cash register operations, perform weekly inventories, wash containers/tools of trade,

Self-starter, work independently, ability to read and understand a variety of technical

manuals, and operate a variety of heavy equipment such as Bull Dozers, Skid Loaders,

Hemmit Wreckers, and 4K and 10K Fork Lifts, just to name a few. Have the following

Certifications/licenses: Class 'A' CDL, US Army Basic Combat Training Course

(Diploma January 2011), US aarmy Heavy Construction Equipment Repairer (Certificate

Combat Lifesaver Course (Certificate January 2010 - present), Combative training

(Mixed Mashal Arts) Levels 1 and 2 (Certified via US Army September 2014), MK3

Husky (Route Clearance Vehicle) Maintainer (Certified via US Army November 2014),

Caterpillar Mechanic Certified (via military schools).

Volunteer and Social programs:

Currently working with animal shelter in Kuwait. Was a member of the Las Vegas

Gamblers (a non-profit Army group) during deployment in South Korea, raising money

and providing tangible items for an orphange in Seoul S. Korea. Worked with my

Grandfather (a licensed, Journeyman Plumber) during summer to complete landscaping

renovations, laying sod, and creating grades for water draining using a Bobcat, at a local

church in 2006. Was a member of Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, and Tiger Cubs, where I

learned a variet of skills. Built sets for Drama Club in Middle School and was a member

of the Algona Archery club. Have assisted in many home renovations and repairs since a

young age, utilizing skills in carpentry, drywalling, plumbing, electrical, and landscaping.
