About Myself: I have been married for 30 years, I am a mother of two girls, a grandmother, a great grandmother and a great Aunt. I am committed, reliable, trustworthy, detailed, organized and willing to learn. I have come to love computer work, data entry, appointment setting, registration, and office work. In November 2013, I received my High School Diploma from Marque Learning Center, home school program.

Work History:

From 1972 to 1976: I was a cashier for grocery stores in Houston. I worked at different stores over the years and I do not remember the stores names.

From 1978 to 1988, I was a substation manager for Pilgrim Cleaners in Houston. Job description: only person working store, open and close store, wait on customers, cashier, kept daily and weekly money records, filing, kept store clean, and tag and bag clothing for transport and filed clothes when returned. Reason for leaving: wanted to work less hours, I worked 11 hours week days and 8 hours on Saturdays. From 1989 to 1990, I was assistant manager for Chick-Fil-A in Houston. Before becoming assistant manager I worked the food/customer stations. As assistant manager I supervised the employees, handled problems, order food supplies and checked them when arrived, recorded daily cash and deposited to bank. Reason for leaving: moved to country and was too far to drive. From 1993 to 1995, I was a school cafeteria worker for Magnolia High School. Job description: prepared school lunches and cleaned. Reason for leaving: The work became very hard on me. I was 43 years old when I quit and then found out I was pregnant. Doctor ordered me to stay off my feet because I was considered a high risk.

Experience / Volunteer Work:

From 2000 to 2011, I volunteered at The Church at Friendship in Hockley doing data entry work and administration helper to the church secretary. The data entry work consisted of transferring paper information to computer database program (Servant Keeper). I also printed out monthly, quarterly and yearly reports, and kept the records current and updated, alone with some filing and answering the phone. I loved being helpful to the staff, leaders and ministries. During this time I also made the church monthly newsletter calendar.

From 2011 to current, I am a Diabetes Support Group Coordinator From 2014 to current, volunteer church secretary at Gentle Shepherd Bible Church in Magnolia. Same job description as Church at Friendship but includes church clerk, make and send out church newsletter. The following are references I’ve known over 12 years. I’ve worked with Irene Tyler (Church at Friendship secretary) comments by Irene Tyler:

Diane has been so very helpful as a volunteer. She has done most of the handling of the data base entries for the church. She also has been a big part in the writing of our monthly newsletter. She is very conscientious in her work. When she takes on a task she is very prompt in getting it finished. I believe that she would be very good employee.

Diane Wilson would make a great employee to your company. She is dependable, efficient, and organized. She has compassion for others and would work well with both customers and other employees. She has worked with our church organization for years in preparing items for the newsletter, functions, and calendars. She is very proficient with computers. I believe data entry would be a great professional venue for her career. Phone # cell - 281-***-**** acszr8@r.postjobfree.com
