Professional Accomplishments

Project Design, Management and Implementation

Worked as a member of the start-up team for newly built manufacturing plant. Created master data, procured, received and stored direct and indirect materials, developed work processes and procedures for the above. Worked with the manufacturing maintenance team to develop MRO spare parts lists and the storage facilities for the spare parts. Set up the integration between the plant maintenance software and the procurement software. Established the MRP settings for all of the MRO spares and raw materials used at the plant.

Worked as the North American IT representative of the Global team that extracted and summarized total enterprise spend to enable category managers to focus on reducing spend.

Worked as the North American representative of the Global team that created a Global standard process for Incident Management. Created reporting tools and KPIs for the North American region and trained all North American IT team members on how to use HP Service Manager incident management software application.

Worked as a member of the IT team that converted Retail store operations from mainframe to SAP ERP 6.0. Responsible for all tasks required to enable the stores to perform physical inventories as required. Gathered all requirements and oversaw all development of the IT tools used by the store associates. The project required a complex architecture that employed SAP portal, SAP Retail Store Application, ECC 6.0, in house Point of Sale system and mainframe. Created and used LSMW for initial inventory load. Configured partner profiles and IDOCs used for inventory and SD transactions.

Managed and completed all tasks required to allow manufacturing plants to utilize bar code scanners on the manufacturing floor to perform goods issues, physical inventories and transfer postings for MRO items required for maintaining production equipment. Personally handled the entire project from concept to procurement of consulting services and scanner hardware to end user training.

Participated as the MM representative for the implementation of SAP ERP 4.7 to all manufacturing plants. Responsible for configuring plants, storage locations, output determination, etc. Developed and delivered end user training and then provided end user support after Go Live.

Participated as a member of the project team that enhanced the SAP PM functionality at one manufacturing plant. Gathered the requirements for and coordinated the development of a custom slip that prints at the storeroom when items are withdrawn by maintenance technicians.

Participated as a member of the North American SRM project. Provided subject matter expertise in the MRP, material master data and procurement areas that allowed the project team to develop the functional specs and customization to facilitate a successful implementation.

Volunteered to be a member of the team tasked to look at SAP Fiori, Personas and HANA applications to see how they could be utilized. Scripted a flavor for the VL01NO transaction so that end users at the plants could easily create delivery notes without reference.

Business Support

Designed and created several custom transactions for the Supply Chain team to facilitate third party procurement of finished goods. Gathered the requirements, authored the specs, tested the transactions and moved them through the landscape to production.

Improved several custom MM report programs based on help tickets received from manufacturing users.

Improved the freight pay interface program between SAP and Transportation Management System based on feedback from the business unit.

Made several improvements to the interface program which creates the material master views for MRO items based on personal observations.

Developed new MM reporting tools based on feedback from the business users. Gathered the requirements and created functional specs for offshore developers to create the abap programs. Tested and moved the various reports to production.
