Technology Managed Service provider servicing businesses across various industries.
Vice President - Technical Services
Led Engineering Teams (38 Engineers/Managers) including Support Desk, Field Engineers, CIO Services, Applications Services Group and Project Management to service 250 business client’s technology needs. Delivered solutions including switches, routers, firewalls, VM, Oracle, SAN, remote monitoring, Azure, Exchange, Office 365, Sharepoint, cloud services and other best-practice solutions.
Accomplishments:
Conceived competitive fixed annuity revenue MSP service to offset variable revenue service. Introduced Cloud computing and developed financial quoting and profitability analysis tools. Developed new contract and implemented new service to sales and marketing. Revenue of the service increased 200% each month.
Increased Service Billing by 25%, reduced client givebacks by over $295,000 annually, added Run-Books and standards, improved management supervision, realignment of Senior Engineers time and training, improved client interactions and developed a mantra of “Prepped, Red-Flag and Done” for client deliverables.
Rebuilt a struggling Support Desk into a World Class operation through new and retrained personnel, new tools and procedures, live calling and que management and visual metrics of success. Client surveys show an over 95% satisfaction rating week over week.
Due to competitive pressures, created New Products and Services process, analysis tools, evaluated market for implementing new offerings of MSP, Cloud Office 365, Cloud SharePoint, Security Assessments and Remediation, and Penetration Testing.
