Design and maintain a SQL Server database with C# GUI and SQL queries frontend to provide easy data entry and report access for the owner of Noel’s Collectibles. Worked on migration of Data from Excel, Flat file to MS SQL Server by using SQL Server Integration Services. Involved in data loading using PL/SQL and SQL*Loader calling UNIX scripts to download and manipulate files. The database tracks customers, orders, types of projects, material needed for each project and inventory. This is a personal project that I did for my wife’s Internet based custom crochet business to make it easier for her to keep track of her business.

Developed a database system in GW-BASIC to track the drivers assigned to the branch, vehicles assigned to the branch, runs scheduled on a daily basis and the service schedule for each vehicle. This system could create, update and delete records as needed as well as had several different reports built into it.
Personal and Academic Projects
Developed a Math Tutorial program in Visual Basic 6 that teaches addition, subtraction, multiplication and division with real numbers, whole numbers and flash cards using the long form of each operation. The system includes teaching with popup instructional windows, practice and testing. It is geared for 1st through 6th grades.
Developed a simulated CPU using Visual Basic 6. The CPU included all the registers, the MPU and all the caches found in a CPU. It used binary addition like a real CPU and had a decimal-binary converter and a binary-decimal converter.
