Fanfare is a marketing/sales company for major supermarket; we work with local businesses to assist them in advertising their products within supermarkets. As the VP of Technology, my primary responsibility is to create opportunities to amplify corporate revenue. Living in a harsh economy has required technology groups to work closely with business operations. I implemented a paper-less payroll process within our JDE application that reduced paper cost for this process by 68% annually.

Working with AT&T, Verizon, and various (smaller) carriers, we reduced the telecom annual expense by 41%.

Currently we are redesigning our RPG (AS/400) custom business application. The primary goal is to move away from an expensive AS/400 to a client-server environment based on .NET 3.5 technologies. I utilize my local team and remote programmers to maintain a cost ratio that ensures we are within budget and the project isn’t prematurely cancelled due to cost considerations. Additionally, we are upgrading our JDE One World Xe environment to a client-server web-based version that will ultimately lead to real time data manipulation and on-time delivery of business data and logic.

Currently responsible for all technology processes (help desk, application development and deployment, Microsoft server operations, technology deployment, operational financial direction, and overall business development.
