Stoping (Pillars and Normal) and Development (Flat and Inclined).
Management of diamond drilling:
Electronic logging by using machine called Corelog, Sampling of drilled core and electronic capturing by using AUBIS and DOWNHOLE EXPLORER programs.
1.Microstation /Cadsmine:
2.1. Interpretation of the geological structure is done on Cadsmine in 3-Dimension by means of geo-modeller tools.
2.Communication to Mine planner on regular basis regarding all geological changes that affect mining layouts.
3. Communication to Mine Evaluation on new geological changes that can be used for evaluation purposes.
Management of grade control:
I check and sign off all sampling reports in area of my responsibility to ensure that no off-reef mining is conducted in the stopes or development.
Training of Mineral Resources Officers (Old Samplers) and new Geologists:
I train all new geologists (about mapping stopes and development) and Mineral resource officers (about stope mapping).
Bushveld Complex Experience
Between 2005 and 2006 I was working in the Rustenburg area and Brits I have acquired sufficient knowledge about Bushveld Complex as a shaft
Geologist and in Rock Engineering Department (Strata Control Officer).
