Role: Designer & Verifier
Participate customer requirements discussion, obtain interlocking typical followed in zonal & divisional levels, propose EI design and interface approach using EI features and enable customers
Identify and design inputs & outputs (IO) to EI systems
Design & verify WESTRACE EI Application Logic and data
Design, operator interface, simulate setup for customer Factory acceptance test (FAT)
Coordinate with Customer and Installation team at Site location for Acceptance Testing (SAT) and Commissioning
Axle Counter (MSDAC – FRAUSCHER)
Assignment: Provision of Axle counters in a busy suburban line replacing the existing track detection devices; the time critical assignment in the traffic dense area was to have facility of track monitoring and reset facilities having multiple crossing facilities in the section. WESTRACE Electronic Interlocking equipment is integrated with track detection equipment interfaces to verify and provide multi level reset facility.
Role: Plan, Design, Verify and Test
Scope covers Design, Installation & Commissioning of 1500 DP’s (Detection point).
Trained on Axle counters principles on components and project planning
Design and verify of Vital & Non vital logic with interface of WESTRACE & FRAUSCHER for PC based Reset option
Mentoring and training of junior members of design and project team
Testing & commissioning of Computer based Reset operation of Axle counter system by using WESTARCE interlocking system
Coordinate with Customer and installation team at Site location for Acceptance Testing (SAT) and Commissioning
Basic concepts of signaling and designing –Siemens Rail
