oUpgraded the computerized eHealth service processing the paper-prescriptions (almost 2 million prescriptions per month) achieving a 33% reduction of the pharmaceutical expenditures (from 210 million euros to 140 million per month)
oRe-engineering the business model of the services provided at the 360 subsidiaries of the Institution improving the efficiency of the offered services
oSetting a computerized service for sending every month a letter to each of the 7,000 medical doctors informing about (i) the number of peer-reviewed insured beneficiaries, and (ii) the performance of prescriptions of each prescribing physician with statistical analyses, achieving 25% reduction of the pharmaceuticals costs from the first month of measure’s implementation.
oIncreased the efficiency of the Institution’s owned hospitals, at the Hospital “Virgin” from 27% in-patients occupancy to 70%, at the 5th Hospital from 60% in-patients occupancy to 80%, at the 2nd Hospital increased the number of out-patients by 20%, and at the 3rd Hospital increased the number of patients served by 35% without increasing the involved costs.
oDesigned, implemented, and organized the Accreditation Center of Labor Disability achieving the reduction of the overall index of disability from 14% to 8% which is about the average general European index.
oPolitically achieved to introduce legislation for transferring the examination of the terms and conditions of the disability diseases in the Central Board of Health instead of opinion by officials of the Ministry of Labor maintaining complete electronic medical records on which assessment is performed.
oSupervised the study prepared by the services of the Institution demonstrating that the implementation of prevention programs throughout the insured population ages and by investing 70 million euros per year saved EUR 500 million.
oOrganized the operations with eHealth services for the support of the Institution’s Pharmacy stores setting available and providing specific high cost drugs and non-imported drugs.

oit is a version of the Disease Related Groups (DRG) of the Ministry of Health, Republic of Greece
oDesign and implemented the plans for the introduction of the 'Closed Consolidated Medical Budgets" in the National Health System (NHS).
oCollaborated with the National School of Public Health for the conditions, the terms of selection, and the adaptation actions applied by choosing the Australian model as the base standard as happened in other countries too (eg Germany).
oChaired all Committees as Deputy Governor responsible for Social Security Institution of Medical Services.
oIntroduced the system DRG system in 131 Hospitals NHS in just 27 weeks coordinating the scientific knowledge and medical experience of 300 NHS physicians-directors and 400 administrators of the NHS.

oTrained the trainers staff in all NHS hospitals with the e-learning system of the National School of Public Health in two sessions of 650 executives each time across the territory.
