-Develop yearly capital expenditure budgets and routine maintenance budgets, including presentation and defense to corporate executives. Through a focus on responsible cost management, reduction of yearly budgets of an average of 3% year on year while increasing productivity was realized.
-Championed a renewed focus on preventive maintenance to reduce plant downtime. This included focusing on identifying and classifying priority equipment, creating maintenance plans for each unit, and executing the plan with regular consistency. Was able to realize an unplanned downtime reduction from 18% to < 7% while reducing emergency work from 30% to < 15% over 3 years.

-Led the department safety team to identify and resolve unsafe conditions, prepare documentation for OSHA VPP audits, perform monthly area safety audits and spot checks of life critical permits.
-Design and implement minor site improvement projects to improve plant reliability and reduce the likelihood of unplanned downtime.

-Responsible for improving plant operations with respect to the manufacture of seam welded stainless steel tubing.
-Implemented improvement projects that increased the speed of manufacturing tubing mills while maintaining the high quality required by customer specifications. The resultant speed increase was from 18 ft/sec to 24 ft/sec and was successfully applied by working with operators.
-Implemented project that removed the usage of nitrogen to dry tubing after hydrotesting and converted to drying via compressed breathing air. Constant manufacture of the air rather than purchase of nitrogen resulted in yearly savings of >250K.
