PROJECT & SEMINAR DETAILS

•IDM(Item Data Management):This is Home Depot project and the IDM application will be used only by vendors to promote their product into the Home Depot site i.e vendor will be creating item using IDM Portal and will submit it for further approvals and IDM application is built using ‘Flex’ technology. After creation and the created item will move to STEP(Stibo Enterprise) application were it is accessed by only THD associates and vendor won’t have access in STEP, here in STEP THD Associates will verify whether the item created by vendor has meet their standards if it meets then the will approve the item if the vendor fails any one of the THD standards then the item will be rejected back to the vendor for further clarification. Here STEP application works on Java technology. My role in my project is Senior Testing Engineer were I have created Test Scenario’s RTM and Test cases based on the requirement also have generated test data to verify the application flow with different combination.

•SBA(for Supplier Buying Agreement): SBA stands for Supplier Buying Agreement and mainly is used for creating NEW VENDOR. SBA is the agreement between the home depot and the supplier. If the home depot decides to make business with a supplier, Merchant from the home depot will send an email inviting them to complete their SBA through online tool (the SBA Web form Application) .Invitation email contains Control id and password. Vendor uses that (unique Control id and password) to login to the SBA Vendor Application and resets the password.
