Thru my working years as motorman/mechanic I have been always showing that I wish and keen to progress. Into my daily routine it was included not only watch keeping duties, general maintenance and assistance to other engineers. Also maintenance on engine room equipment.

Operate hoisting and lifting devices such as cranes, to position machinery and parts during the installation, set-up and repair of machinery.

Operate machine tools such as lathes and grinders to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up of machinery. Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
