Managed the accounting staff and worked closely with import and quality staff on a daily basis; performed all functions of A/P, A/R, invoicing, collections, payroll, and relationship management with banks and external auditors. Provided extensive budgeting, projections, and cash flow planning; developed complex spreadsheets to assist in the analysis of operations; managed the company’s insurance package, benefits and human resource functions; enhanced the company’s banking relationships; improved key relationships with major foreign vendors; decreased collection times and increased the accuracy and timeliness of invoicing procedures.

Responsible for the creation of the initial accounting systems and policies for a start-up venture for a wireless broadband provider. Provided extensive budgeting and forecasting; developed complex spreadsheets to ensure the accurate tracking of a large asset base; prepared monthly financial statements for management; performed all functions of A/R, A/P, human resources, payroll, safety, and insurance; submitted all tax filings; and assisted in all aspects of the product launch. This was a temporary assignment that ended in September 2001.

Responsible for all accounting functions and supervision of accounting staff for a company that specialized in wireless infrastructure installation with $36 million in annual sales. Executed bi-monthly multi-state payroll for over 200 employees; provided expertise in project accounting, job costing and project billing; prepared all monthly, quarterly and annual tax returns and financial statements; and made all necessary adjustments and accruals. Prepared the complete yearly budget in coordination with staff at corporate headquarters; managed banking relationships, employee benefits, 401k administration, workers’ compensation administration, the complete insurance program, A/R and A/P.

Prepared all tax returns; supervised all A/P, A/R and payroll processes; responsible for 401K, workers’ compensation program, safety program and employee insurance program. Developed yearly budget program for each company; established strong banking relationships to support expansion of a major division; and maintained and repaired system 36.
