Responsible for the creation of the initial accounting systems and policies for a start-up venture for a wireless broadband provider. Provided extensive budgeting and forecasting; developed complex spreadsheets to ensure the accurate tracking of a large asset base; prepared monthly financial statements for management; performed all functions of A/R, A/P, human resources, payroll, safety, and insurance; submitted all tax filings; and assisted in all aspects of the product launch. This was a temporary assignment that ended in September 2001.

Executed bi-monthly multi-state payroll for over 200 employees; provided expertise in project accounting, job costing and project billing; prepared all monthly, quarterly and annual tax returns and financial statements; and made all necessary adjustments and accruals. Prepared the complete yearly budget in coordination with staff at corporate headquarters; managed banking relationships, employee benefits, 401k administration, workers’ compensation administration, the complete insurance program, A/R and A/P.
