An Online Banking Module was developed for easy and convenient online access of accounts for the American Family Insurance Clients.

BCBS RI markets, administer, service, and underwrite health and dental insurance plans for individuals, employers, and governmental agencies. The functions supported include data processing, claims processing, marketing, finance and accounting, customer relations, provider and professional relations and managed care. The business of BCBS RI is mainly dependent on IBM mainframe systems.

The scope of the project is to carry out regular maintenance and enhancement of the BCBS RI in Membership, Finance and Claims applications of its LRSP system. The various processes involved were enrollment, member eligibility and claims processing. It included fixing of reported problem tickets, implementation of "Request for System Services (RSS)" including new developments, enhancements, knowledge management activities and implementation of quality processes.
