PG Projects:

3rd/ 4th Sem : Design, Development and realization of MEM’s based pressure sensor with signal conditioning ASIC MAX1452. Project work is carried out in II.Sc Bangalore under the Guidance of Dr.M.M.Nayak, Emeritus professor, II.Sc Bangalore. In this project pressure sensor is designed and is temperature compensated for space application.

2nd Sem : Low power design of digital circuit using Shannon expansion. 40% reduction in power is achieved in the project.

UG Projects:

8th Sem : “An Embedded Navigation System for aiding people with Alzheimer’s disease”. In this project an advanced reminder is designed for the people with Alzheimer (memory loss). Here GPS system is used to track the position of the user, and microcontroller is used for controlling and alerting the proper message.

6th Sem : Mini Project (2011) Implementation of binary multiplication using Booth and Systolic algorithm on FPGA using VHDL. In this project we have written a code to perform the multiplication of both signed and unsigned binary numbers.

Academic awards and achievements:

1.Recipient of best paper award for the paper “Design multiphysics simulation, signal processing and conditioning of MEMS based pressure sensor”, held at Munnar, Kerala and the paper is published in I.Jl BRMM, 2014.

2.“Applying Shannon expansion concept for power optimization of digital design” Paper published in Current Science, Engineering and Technology, 2013.

3.Stood first in State level technical paper presentation “Implementation of binary multiplication using Booth and Systolic algorithm on FPGA using VHDL” presentation held at Anjuman College of Engineering and Technology, Bhatkal in 2011.

4.Exhibited the project “Digital Clock using counter” in the SDM Utsav-2010 project exhibition.

5.Technical papers –“Fast Railway Booking using VHDL” paper presented in a National level Technical paper Presentation Contest held at Hirasugur Institute of Technology, Nidasoshi on 10th October 2010.
