Portable Girder Builder for High Steel Structures Inc. Jan 2015 – May 2015 Mechanical Systems Design Project

-Worked with a team of four other students in providing a solution to making a portable device for building girders
-Utilize SolidWorks software to design the device and perform Finite Element
-Analysis (FEA) to ensure that the model withholds 50 tons of force
-Communicated weekly with representatives from High Steel Structures Inc. using Join.Me, an online screen sharing tool
Faucet Powered Generator Jan 2014 - May 2014
Mechanical Engineering Design Methodology

-Designed a device out of PVC pipes and acrylic glasses that generated a peak of 1.4V of power by the water running down the faucet
-Devised a Gantt chart to organized all the task in the scope of the project and planning out the start and finish dates for each task
-Developed an alpha and a beta prototypes for the testing the device

Introduction to Engineering Design

-Worked with a team of three other students to design a speaking robot to perform various task while navigating its way through a maze
-Conducted surveys with a class of about 50 students to gather information about the types of functions people prefer on a robot
-Utilize SolidWorks software to design some parts of the robot and Makerbot machine to 3D print the components out
