Facilities Maintenance Team Member: Machined projects for other teams and departments in NUMMI; implemented preventive measures, tracked students’ quality on a daily basis, wrote standardized work procedures for each job, trained new team members on Machine Shop Theory and Practice Improved existing machine tools by ordering and fabricating missing tools (such as a 6” capacity steady rest for a Lodge & Shipley lathe, a 7” capacity steady rest for the Leblond 13” swing gap lathe) Served as a team member as needed; worked with management to improve quality and efficiency.
